Corporate Alliance

Posted by on Dec 14, 2006 in Blog, Business, OrangeSoda.com | 0 comments

Yesterday I attended my first Corporate Alliance function. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect as I have never attended a “business social” of this sort. I was pleasantly surprised at the opportunity to meet with various other business professionals and find potential relationships. I hope to be able to go frequently as I was able to meet numerous companies that were very interested in our small business internet marketing services.

Remove my language toolbar for me!

Posted by on Dec 6, 2006 in Blog, Uncategorized | 0 comments

Two people have asked me to remove their microsoft language toolbar this week. So, I have to assume a lot of people have this problem. The language toolbar is the little “?” in a small square near the clock on the startard XP desktop. Typically, even if you remove the toolbar by right clicking the taskbar and unchecking the language toolbar it returns on each reboot. Here are the steps to remove it for good: Start, Control Panel Click Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options and then Regional and Language Options Press...

Nice & Clean

Posted by on Nov 15, 2006 in Blog, Clean, Hip Designs, Internet, Web Development | 0 comments

I found a few really nice designs today. Parcrittenhouse.com – I like everything about this site…nice use of white space, the colors and the googlemap on the contact page. SteveKrach.com – People often tell me my taste in design is too plain. This site may fall into the “too plain” category, but I still dig it. Geniuscreativepr.co.uk – Simple. The menu kind of bugs me though. Artypapers.com – The way this site divides it’s main content from the tools on the right works out quite...

Review Me

Posted by on Nov 13, 2006 in Blog, Business, Internet, Search Engine Marketing | 0 comments

Many of us, including myself, have our collection of blogs that we read each day. I nearly feel sick if I don’t know what’s going on with my favorite “reads” each day. If you are reading this chances are you know that feeling all too well. As always, rapid growth invites innovation. Savvy entreprenuers continue to find ways to monetize this buzz industry. The folks at ReviewMe were the latest to catch my eye. ReviewMe offers solutions for publishers to make an income off their creative blog posts and advertisers to...

Worst search engine ever?

I’d have to go with Msdewey.com. I’m sure this site is simply an attempt at link bait. Yes, it worked. I’m a fool.

Quality Search Engine Marketing Blogs

Posted by on Jul 31, 2006 in Blog, Internet, Search Engine Marketing | 2 comments

Over the past few years I’ve become addicted to reading my list of blogs each morning. The majority of these blogs are related to internet marketing and search engine optimization. I’ve compiled quite a list of the top blogs in the industry (I’ll get around to posting the list one of these days), but I’ve also found some blogs that aren’t so well known of significant value. Apogee Search Marketing Blog is one of those. More to come soon…...

Just Landed A New Domain

Posted by on Jul 30, 2006 in Blog, Domains, ImLinked.com, Internet, My Projects | 1 comment

Pool.com has been good to me in the past. I’ve acquired quite a few decent domains that were let go by others. Just the other day, however, I backordered an unexpected domain. I rarely check my pool account and sometimes I go a little overboard backordering. When I checked my email I was surprised to see that I was the proud owner of I’mLinked.com. I don’t remember backordering it, but it’s there in my account. Now, what to do with it? Hmmm…any ideas?

Google Isn’t Funny

Posted by on Jul 20, 2006 in Blog, Google, Internet | 0 comments

Does anyone else remember Google’s April Fool’s joke back in 2002? I remember reading it years back and not finding it funny. You can view it here: Google’s Pigeonrank, April Fool’s Day Joke I just spent some time reviewing some things on G’s site. I periodically do this to look for new tools and came across this joke. After reading it years later I decided it still isn’t funny. Now don’t get me wrong…I use google daily, but this attempt at humor doesn’t get better with age.

Google now has a sneak peak available for their new web-based spreadsheet solution. The screenshots to dive too far into the feature set, but it does appear to be somewhat comprehensive. Take a look for yourself.
